Site Supervisor (with lifting exp)
Our client is focused on Global natural water treatment solutions. They have an immediate requirement for a Site Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration and alignment with Corporate Engineering, Project Management, Procurement:
• The lead supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day field installation activities on the Project. The individual in
this role ensures adherence to design basis and quality requirements for all assigned Structural/Piping/Equipment and
support installation works.
• Provides technical assistance to the contractor and keeps them informed on matters relating to safety and quality control.
• Keeping track of project progress.
• Day-to-day management and co-ordination of lifting operations on site.
• Oversee the use of all crane and hoisting equipment on site.
• Conduct daily lifting co-ordination meetings whenever two or more cranes will operate on site simultaneously and their
operating radii overlap to ensure proper planning and minimize the risk of collision.
• Review and approve contractor’s task specific RA, SWP and Lifting Plans for lifting operations.
• Implement and monitor the site inspection and maintenance regime requirements as outlined within this plan for all cranes
and lifting equipment / accessories to ensure their integrity and fitness for use.
• Check and verify contractor’s lifting crew competencies and appointments.
• Ensure the compliance of lifting operations to the Project’s Lifting Management Plan.
• Monitor the safe execution of lifting operations in accordance with the approved crane lifting plans.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Diploma or ITE in Engineering with 4-5 years' experience in Construction.
• Possess Lifting Supervisor Safety Course certification is an added advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of the Structural/Mechanical Equipment/Piping Construction process.
• Ability to read and interpret ISO/GA/P&ID drawings
• Familiar and experience with various water and wastewater technologies & EPC projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Job location : West, Singapore
Work week : 5.5 days
Salary : upto $5500 pm depending on experience
