Our client is Singapore's established provider of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS) training and certification services. Serving clients across 20+ countries with comprehensive training, auditing, e-learning, and consulting solutions.

THE ROLE
They seek a Chief Operating Officer to lead Singapore operations
This is a critical leadership role running the entire training operation with strong focus on course development, particularly high-value and advanced certification programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all operational aspects of the company, across multiple departments and training verticals
Develop and launch new high-value courses and advanced certification programs
Manage partnerships with SkillsFuture Singapore, regulatory bodies, and industry partners
Manage Workforce Skills Qualification /SkillsFuture programs and SSG compliance
Oversee trainer recruitment, development, and management at scale across diverse disciplines
Maintain and expand accreditations (MOM, WSH Council)
Ensure SSG audit compliance and quality assurance across all training delivery
Drive business development, client acquisition, and key account management
Lead, develop, and retain the management team and workforce
Ensure operational excellence, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
Maintain critical accreditations (MOM, Safety & Health Council)
Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree from reputable university (Engineering or relevant field)

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8-10+ years as Director/ COO or in similar capacity essentially with Safety & Health background
Proven track record as General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, CEO, or equivalent C-suite position
Course development expertise for premium programs in Workplace Safety & Health
Knowledge in Safety Qualification framework and SSG funded program experience especially related to Safety & Health programmes and courses
Private sector training experience is essential with the stipulated requirements above
Course development expertise - proven success launching high-value and advanced certification programs
WSQ framework and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funded program experience
Trainer management at scale across diverse subject areas
Accreditation and regulatory compliance management (SSG, MOM, etc.)
Salary : S$10K-12K (can discuss for higher salary)
