Our client is an offshore Marine ship chandler company. They have an immediate requirement for a Senior Operations / Logistics Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall operations of departments – Shipping/Warehouse/Yard operation/Transport.

Manage team of logistics/Shipping executives on all import and export of goods, any shipping documents, ensure comply with custom/MPA requirement and close all billing on timely manner to clients.

Manage team of Yard personnel for safe loading/handling of cargo comprising of Crane/Forklift, Lifting gears and stevedoring team.

Responsible for Preventive/Breakdown maintenance of Equipment/Trucks.

Oversee various supervisors technical, administrative, safety and Staff discipline within the departments.

Overall department resources planning for day-to-day operation.

Ensure operational efficiency, identify potential cost saving opportunities and identify gaps to improve existing operations.

Implement, monitor and review departmental safety work plan and performance together with HSE and ISO team .

Assess staff performance.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in any related field.

5 years of Managerial experience in a logistics/shipping operation.

Excellence in written and verbal communication skills and client-facing experience.

Meticulous, detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Ability to work independent with minimum supervision, multi task and work well in a fast-paces environment.

Possess at least class 3 driving license.

Positive customer service skills with an ability to communicate eloquently and effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.

Job location : Pioneer (Transport provided from MRT in the morning)
Salary : Open to discuss
Work week : 5.5 days
