Our client is an offshore Marine ship chandler company. They have an immediate requirement for a Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities/ Job scope:

Responsible for manpower deployment and work schedule.

Supervising & Co-ordinating daily project site & Yard operation activities.

Updating of daily work status to Shipping executives and related managers.

Manage the daily yard activities in an efficient and productive manner.

Monitors the daily work logs of all assigned subordinates.

Schedule worker overtime during peak periods or whenever necessary.

Strictly enforce company work and safety rules.

Oversee all technical, administrative, safety and Staff discipline of the yard.

Supervise all movements of cargoes in/out of the warehouse/yard.

Liaise with customers via e-mail & telephone for all documentation and administration matters.

Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

Ensure general housekeeping & cleanliness.

Requirements:

At least an ITE or Diploma in related discipline.

Flexible Working, Able to work Independently, Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, Good Written and Verbal Communication Skill, Good Knowledge in Shipping Documents

People management skill is a must.

Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience.

Job location : Pioneer (Transport provided from MRT in the morning)
Salary : Open to discuss
Work week : 5.5 days
